St. Albert Snowflake Festival Inclusion Experience
Escape the hustle and bustle and find your safe haven at the St Albert Snowflake Festival Sensory Experience!
Amidst the excitement and energy of the event, discover a tranquil space where you can pre register to meet Santa in a safe space of inclusivity and calm amidst the chaos during a restricted entry hour being hosted at the community hall. To register please email info@stalbertsnowflakefestival.ca
The Snowflake festival is committed to providing equal access to all participants. Supports such as calming areas, and inclusion kits equipped with noise- and light-dampening devices are available for use during your visit.
Please consider this as general guide to what is available as we recognize that parents are the best judges of what is most appropriate for their children and students.
Calming Zones
The Snowflake Festival is full of large crowds, surprises and sounds that may cause an individual to feel uncomfortable. A dedicated calming space is available should any of our patrons require a place to sit and regroup after being overstimulated. It will have low lighting, less noise and sensory supports inside (see map for exact location).
